Art in the COVID-19 era

Welcome to my art blog.

My name is Ron Deri and i'm an abstract artist based in Israel.

In addition to my daily occupation as a working artist i also manage an art blog in my online gallery.

Me and my online blog followers are very interested to learn more about how the covid-19 era has affected other artists in the community.

Has the situation changed your creative process?

How do your artworks reflect this new global situation?

Do you think things will ever return to the way they were?

I've decided to collect the works and thoughts of artists around the world and write an article that will shed light on the ways the worlds' situation has affected artists.

How to submit your entry

Submitting an entry is completely free of charge!

Submissions will be accepted until July 25th 2020.

In order to submit your entry please email me at ronartgallery2@gmail.com with the following information:

• Your full name

  e.g. John Doe

• Country of residence

  e.g. France

• Artist biography

  a short description of yourself (1-3 paragraphs). what inspires you? when did you start creating art, etc.

• How did COVID-19 affect your creative process?

  1-3 paragraphs

• Artist photo (optional)

  a small square photo of you (600px x 600px maximum dimensions) in png or jpg format

• Website link (optional)

  a link that would be published along side your entry e.g. https://www.example.com/example

• Artwork title

  The name of your artwork. e.g. "Ocean vibes"

• Artwork description

  an in-depth description of your artwork. medium, materials, inspiration, creative process or anything else you would like people to know about the piece.

• Artwork photo

  a high resolution image of your artwork (maximum file size: 20mb), this will be published with your entry

The article will be published with all the accepted entries during July of 2020.
